Editable QR codes for product packaging

Packaging runs last for years. Make the code on the box point to whatever page matters today.

Packaging outlives web pages

Boxes printed this year will still be on shelves and in cupboards years from now. Manuals move, product pages get redesigned, and support portals change. A dynamic QR code on the packaging is the only way to keep the printed code useful.

What to link

Start with the page customers need most on unboxing: setup instructions or a quick-start video. Later, switch it to a warranty registration form, a recipe page, or a replacement-parts store without touching the packaging.

Per-SKU codes

Create a code per product or variant. Scan counts per SKU tell you which products people need help with, an early signal for support and documentation work.

Print and placement

Keep it off seams and folds. Matte surfaces scan better than glossy ones. Aim for 2 cm minimum and test on the actual material, not a proof on paper.
